 Taylor was quickly brought up to speed about the Sabbath society, apparently, it was a community of talented individuals who already showed signs of individually awakening spirituality, the invitation card just served as a nudge in the right direction. The society wasn't some kind of cult like he had first thought or a secret society, instead, it was founded and headed by the crown Prince of Fogar, who felt that although the country was focused on steam technology it also needed to absorb geniuses in the field of occult and provide proper guidance. This wasn't to say there weren't other secret societies or cults lurking around but that the Sabbath society was one of the officially recognized ones, still even with the recognition of officials they still needed to be in secret and not let the general populace be aware of the existence of the occult, as it would go against the national policy of focusing on steam technology.
