I went back to New York.

It wasn't a permanent move, not really. I just needed a place to escape, a safe haven to get away from all the things that had gone terribly wrong in my life.

I needed a place to find some semblance of peace after everything that had unraveled in my life, and New York was the first place that came to mind.

Convincing my Father had been easier than I thought. I only had to explain everything that happened to him.

How Kieran had been trying to win me back since I returned to the United Kingdom, how I agreed to go on three dates with him, how i had no feelings for Orion despite how hard I tried.

But the most painful truth was when I came clean about Orion. I told him how Orion was heartbroken when he found out about my dates with Kieran, and how he manipulated me into getting engaged with him after he found out about my son.
