Following Calix's return from the detention center, he filled in every detail to Andrian and Vernon. His father and brother were aware of Nicholas' arrest and Xander's plan but, they hadn't heard the latest development.

"Xander and I will make sure our family won't be brought up during his trials later. Grandma won't ever hear about him, much less what he had done."

Andrian and Vernon applauded Calix and Xander's cooperation. They agreed that Nicholas might still run free if not for Xander's assistance. 

The following days were more peaceful than ever.

Calix and Leslie invited Xander, Ryken and Davin for dinner this Sunday. Because of the good weather as forecasted, they would host a small gathering in the backyard.
