Jaylene felt a burning heat all over her body, her mouth and throat so dry that they itched. As Joseph came closer and closer, their breaths and heartbeats mingled in their ears, seemingly entwining for a lifetime.

Jaylene quickly raised her hand to his chest and leaned back, trying to widen the distance between her and Joseph.

After saying that, Jaylene turned around and grabbed her bag. Olaf York immediately stood up, looking apologetically at everyone: "I'm sorry, we'll leave first, you guys continue playing."
