Heaven's embrace shattered, and the attack struck Dean's dome, sending them hurling deep into the forest. The only thing kept them rooted to the spot, but with the angelic being destroyed, they were shot back by the attack.

"Why?" Jean-Louis was confused. "What did you do?"

"That boy… the hurt one… there is darkness within him… If we push him too far, darkness will consume all of you." Simbi responded, its gaze pinned on the direction Lucius and his group were thrown.

The moment it appeared, it noticed darkness twirling around Lucius. They believed Lia was the target when it attacked from below, but the truth was that Lucius was its target all along.
