"O-okay…" Lia gasped.

Lucius let go of her and watched her fall to the ground, before turning in the direction of the Rampage beasts with a murderous grin.

Their bodies lit up, glowing brightly as they accumulated energy, apparently preparing to strike at any moment. 

Cough!

Lia coughed a bit, her throat felt sore to the point where she could taste blood. Regardless, Lucius needed her help now and even if she didn't want to help, she was bound to be the first to die here.

Guardian Angel!

Lia's eyes released a golden light while a golden angelic image loomed over her. At the same time, Lucius's eyes revealed a golden flash but for a moment before returning to its blazing purple color.

Buzz!

Lucius's muscles began bulging, his body getting slightly bigger while his veins pulsated with purple light, glowing through his layers of armor.

"That's more like it." Lucius grinned cruelly.
