A thunderbolt struck the house Lucius crashed into and the huge man appeared. His eyebrows knitted together upon realizing Lucius was gone.

Buzz!

Suddenly, dark purple flames lit up at random spots in the abandoned building, revealing Lucius sitting on the staircase leading to the next floor.

"I heard it was the largest terrorist attack in the capital… an entire district within the residential area was attacked by armed men claiming to be members of the resistance. They accused these families of being spies for the government, which they were not wrong about, and because of this over a dozen people were butchered that day." Lucius spoke up, drawing the man's attention.

As he spoke, humming sounds began resonating from the walls and the ground. The assassin frowned and looked around but couldn't see anything different apart from the purple mist seeping into the room.
