My name is Shelby Lee, and I'm a high-school girl, living the best life I could get out of my last school year. Or, living with what I could get, anyway. High school wasn't everything to me. The drama, the fights, the fake friends. The cheating, the teachers, most of the students. I didn't understand the point in any of it. Why cause drama? Why get into fights? Why pretend to be someone's friend? Why cheat on your loved one? Like, what's the goal here, buddy? Make everyone think your a terrible person? Because if it is, it's working. Oh-I should probably mention, I'm not a normal high schooler. You know how others my age have jobs, girlfriends or boyfriends, and all that? Well, I didn't really have a job, um....It's a bit hard to explain. I have a hidden superpower. During school, I'm a normal kid, just like everyone else. But after school is when I suit up, patrol the streets of New York, and stop any crimes from happening. So far, I didn't seem to be having any trouble. Just a bunch of small-time, and pathetic, thieves with nothing to do other than break the laws. Well, that was, until I met Connor. He changed everything. And I mean everything.
