章節 6: Character sheet
I am writing this mainly to clarify some things about the character and their powers:
Name: Adrian de la Rubrica
Race: Human? (I put it like this because he's not human according to the universe's description; you could suggest possible ideas for the MC's race).
Age: 18
Power/Desire:
Modified Warhammer 40k Psychic Power:
The user's psychic power is based on drawing energy directly from their own soul. This power is not connected to any warp or external higher dimension. It includes the standard psychic powers of the Warhammer 40k universe, but its potential is limited by the quality and quantity of the user's soul. As it is used, the psychic power strengthens the soul, pushing it to its natural limit. This limit can be broken, but not by conventional means.
Skill Details:
The natural limit of psychic power cannot be increased through training. It can only be raised by external or uncommon means.
The efficiency of power usage can be improved.
Compared to other humans, the user's soul is between 300 and 500 times more powerful and of higher quality when the power is granted.
The quality of the soul influences learning and understanding, while the potency affects willpower and the amount of raw power that can be released in a single moment. The quantity affects the user's physical or material body, passively increasing strength slightly.
Current power: 394 times the potency of an average human (an increase since it was used in earlier chapters).
Current limit: 500 times the potency of an average human (this limit is the maximum they can reach with training; after that, it will not increase naturally, just to clarify).
Warhammer 40k Psychic Disciplines:
- Biomancy
- Telepathy
- Telekinesis
- Pyromancy
- Demonology
- Precognition
- Technomancy
- Theosophamy (this one is quite different since there's no warp, so I plan to include all "esoteric science" here like rituals, enchantments, etc.).
The disciplines are somewhat canon; there are more, but I decided not to focus on them, and some of the ones above he can't use in the same way as canon because they wouldn't make much sense.
He can use all the disciplines, but he needs to practice them, and that doesn't mean he'll be an expert in all of them, though he might become quite proficient in the future. For now, he has only used Biomancy (when his leg healed faster than usual) unconsciously, and Telepathy (how he reorganized his mind) and Telekinesis. Of the above, Telepathy is the discipline with the most progress so far.
Power level: Delta to Gamma. This refers to raw power; in terms of versatility, his power is much higher.
He won't be a Gary Stu; he'll make mistakes like anyone else. The world's danger level is adjusted to his powers, so he won't always win.
I feel like what I wrote is just rambling, but anyway, let me know what you think, if I missed something, or if I'm making him too powerful so I can adjust. I also don't plan to weaken him senselessly for every power/discipline he learns.
The story won't be a harem, since I wouldn't know how to write one. I haven't decided yet if he'll have a partner or not. I'm leaning towards Connie or Nora, but I haven't decided since it's not important yet. If you want someone else, I'm all ears, but give good reasons.
The last clarification is that I'll refer to his powers as: psychic power, magic, warp energy, soul power, etc., so I don't always have to write "psychic power."
