Lily leaned back, her expression shifting to one of relief. "I was really glad you were doing okay, Zinnia. I was so worried about you. But seeing you now, it felt like you were finally finding your way."

"Thanks, Lily. I really needed you here," Zinnia said, her voice softening. "Your support meant the world to me."

Lily smiled warmly, but her eyes suddenly turned serious. "I know things are complicated with James's return. But I want you to remember, no matter what happens, you deserve happiness, Zinnia."

Zinnia nodded, the weight of Lily's words sinking in. "I know. It's just hard to reconcile everything right now. But I'm trying."

"Good. That's all I can ask for," Lily replied, squeezing her hand. "Now, tell me more about this Samuel guy. How does he treat you?"
