章節 148: Vampire pregnancy is a tricky thing

At Soren's words, I blush a little, not really sure what to expect, but finding myself overwhelmed anyway. Yes, there is no doubt that had Soren done that upon our first time together, I probably would have been a little freaked. Although on that matter, the whole thing is rather impressive. Absently I wonder if it serves any purpose to them at all- other than to have a good time that is.

"Maybe I would be a little, yeah," I admit, giggling in tandem with him. "But it was also kind of hot, so who am I to say?" Slightly dizzy from the lingering pleasure, I  pad over the kitchen tiles to land a kiss on his cheek, stretching on my tiptoes in order to reach. Even with my limbs having lengthened as a vampire, I am still am rather short. Ithuriel always used to tease me about it- I was hardly taller than the council members, and those ancient, snarky angels hardly need any other reason to look down on me.

Irritably, I frown. It is quite the curse.
