Isabelle knocked on her sister's door again and still no reply. She had been suffering under silent treatment for days now and with her journey drawing closer she did not want to leave things like this with Marianne.

"You are really going to let me travel with us on these terms? What if I really die? How will you be able to forgive yourself?"

She heard a click, she opened it. "Marianne!" Isabelle gasped, gripping her red sister. Her eyes were raw and red, her nose red, her face red and splotchy. How long had she been crying?
