"We're being followed," Mara informed me.

"Definitely thugs from that gambling den," Amber agreed, tightening her arm around mine as we continued heading back to our ship.

I didn't even notice we were being followed…

For some reason, I had that feeling of being followed when it was that group of drugged up thugs but I didn't even get that feeling with this particular group.

I guess either they were just better at tailing or it was because I felt safe while with the girls which was why I had my guard down.

At least I wasn't the only one because both Lea and Ries turned to them in surprise.

"We're being followed?"

"Where?"

Mara waved her hand, "It's fine. They aren't planning to harm us. They're just checking if we were sent by another gang to spy on them or to disrupt their activities so they're tailing us to see where we're going."
