If you forgot where I am right now, I, Aiko Collins, am living inside the world of「Heart Nuisance」. An otome game that takes place around the early 1800s, in the "Duchy of Garmunton", a fictional place you will find in the region of modern-day Britanny, France.
Emie-sama had no choice but to ride their carriage beside me to school, we look like two intimate friends that forgive each other after a long verbal argument. And when we get there, I'm sure that my guardian will be very relieved when she sees me back in her vision; but with another acting like a grumpy worried father. Also, I requested Sir Jacques to sign the papers I brought in my bag to the mansion for the school elections; and yes, in an alternate France that takes place in the late 1800s, student council elections are very much a thing.
"Emie-sama"
"What?" She says irritatedly as she turns away from me. That's too cruel, milady.
"Oh, I'm sorry for bothering you, Emie-sama.."
"..."
"I'm listening you dense idiot!" Now she turns towards me, much better!
"I love you, Emie-sama, do you love me too?"
"Absolutely NOT! You keep clinging on me like I'm your cotton pillow!"
Look who's talking, I'd tell Peter-sama about this if Mr. Thomas Edison developed his phonograph already!
Just kidding, I'd never ever betray my one and only love. I'm a simp, after all! A simpleton that most people do not know about. But I am a simpleton that has one goal in mind, to protect the people I've grown to care and care more about in just a few weeks of knowing them.
Having this phrase like I'm about to do something heroic in my head everyday gives me an odd feeling of courage.
"It's clear to me that you accept me as an admirer, is it not?"
"Well, you are correct. I do not, in fact, think that there is anything wrong with your admiration.."
"..as your orientation does not matter as long as you 'love', a person, for who they are; that is what I've been taught."
Ara? I don't remember hearing her like this in the game??
[Emie Couture has been educated well since early age, being taught mostly etiquette and moral values when she was a little child, and then taught by professional tutors and even semi-pro musicians when she turned 3. She's been academically trained and prepared ever since! And no wonder she's amazing with using her fiery fingers of doom, Emie-sama has played the violin, and has visible talent in the likes of the piano.]
"..But that doesn't stray from the fact that you're SO ANNOYING! So can you stop from follow and cling on me EVERYWHERE I go?!" She raises her voice instantly, that startled me!
"Ehh.."
I'm sorry, but I don't know if I can leave your side, at least right now. A fair lady like you should always have someone to protect you.
"Okay, m'lady, Ms. Collins, we've arrived at the school gates, may I assist you inside?"
"NO..! No, it's fine! I can do it myself, you may go back now, Sir Corentin."
"..As you wish, m'lady. Have a great day, m'lady, to you as well, Ms. Collins."
Grumpy without a reason, again? I've no experience with having a girlfriend or just romance in general, but this is just plain tsundere behavior. Almost as if we're couples with daily quarrels.
"Thank y-"
"AIIIIIIIIIIIKO!"
"..."
"Ai, where have you been..?!"
Ouf.. Erika jumps on me yet again, sobbing and melodramatic as always..
I swear something really cracked around my back area just now.
Louiz shouts by the distance, he looks.. tired and sleepy today? Don't tell me it's because of this crazy young woman.. Poor Mikhail-sama.
The two lead us to the auditorium and see who looks to be Allard-sensei and Alec-sama on the stage with everybody gathered inside, I didn't know he'd come back today?
We settle down on the chairs. Is there some kind of announcement regarding magic? More likely the upcoming elections, but we'll wait.

ctakuso Hello! Hope you're having a great day/night! Author here, this half really felt like a huge filler and wasted a LOT when compared to my revious halves, like I didn't even notice at first.. Well, that aside, I'll be redeeming myself with the next chapter(it's gonna be a whole lot bigger). Critique and feedback always well-appreciated, tolerated even!
