THIS LUNCH, i had Brisk on my company.
While we are inside the restaurant where we're at, i noticed the same students i encounter every day.
I have this retentive memory that helps me memorize urgently things that i've seen once or twice.
Hay. Girls these days. Napakadesperada.
I know they didn't know that i know what are they doing to me.
Pabulong-bulong pa sila habang pinagtitinginan kami ni Brisk and his friends.
I picked up my eating utensils and started eating.
"JC"
Brisk, infront of me, caught my attention.
Napatigil din sa pagkain ang mga kasama namin— who are Kinsley and Jax.
Parehas silang malaki ang katawan, bouncer ba.
"What is it?" i raised an eyebrow on him.
Parang nagdadalawang-isip pa nga siya kapag sasabihin pa niya ang dapat niyang sabihin.
"Uhm, are you dating Danskie?" je asked.
Napahinto ako sa pagkain nang marinig ko ang pangalang iyon.
My lips curved a bit.
"No. Why'd you asked?" usal ko.
Sinubo ko ang isang kutsara.
"I'm warning you not to get so close to her— not even getting friends with her!"
"Bakit naman?"
"Ah, oo pala, you don't know. Masisira ang image mo kapag nakasa-kasama mo ang isang iyon. She possess a goddess beauty and she possess even more devilish mannerism"
He even rolled his eyes.
"Ang gaspang ng kaniyang ugali. She judges others like she's the most perfect person in the whole universe"
I can sense in his tone that he's really annoyed on Danskie.
Well, i can't blame him. All he said was true in the first place.
"I know, my cousin. Don't worry about me. I can handle myself"
I told him before eating the pork.
"She has this nickname here, around the school,"
Napukaw ang atensiyon ko. Binilisan kong ubusin ang pagkain ko.
"Tell me more. I'm interested"
"Before, nang hindi ka pa nagta-transfer, nagkaroon ng epidemia rito sa school kung saan nagkakasakit ang mga estudyante. First year pa lang si Danskie noon nang mag trending siya dahil sa kasamaang kanyang nilalaganap. She's really strong because of her connection to the supreme. Thoralid, the principal's brother, was her alter-ego"
"Eh? What's the nickname then?"
"Teka lang kasi. Sa sobrang pagka-interesa mo—"
"Just go on"
"She, Danskie, bullies students even higher grade levels. Hindi ko man siya naging kaklase sa mga grade levels down pero i know how harsh she bullies people"
"Awesome. What if i'll also have a connection there above? Hmn. What do you think?"
He shrugged his shoulders. Nakataas pa ang dalawang kamay niya. His lips pouted a i-do-not-know shape.
Salamat sa sinabi niya about why Danskie still remains here at Quando Rondo thou she's a threat. Nagkaroon ako ng ideya on how to gain power and authority at these school, maliban sa pagiging handsome ko.
"Sabi-sabi nila, just for the sake of quip and laughter, students called this Danskiephobia"
He then laughed, also his company men.
Wala namang nakakatawa sa sinabi niya but his head became a tomato.
"Danskiephobia? Is it a laughter?"
Napairap pa ako then took my dessert.
"Don't you get it? Well, hindi mo pa kasi alam ang tunay na pagkaitim ng budhi ng babaing iyon"
He then laughed again.
I remained poker face. Ayokong tumawa sa kakornihan niyon.
I don't let myself act like a sick person.
