"Can you get an ice pack? That will help her with the pain and swelling." Mary suggested, also speaking in a low voice because she didn't want to disturb Ellie, who had kept her eyes shut since the very moment her back hit the bed.
"Ah, you're right." Ginger agreed, then walked out of the room, and headed for the kitchen where she would get what she needed.
On her way, she met Gwen, walking in the opposite direction.
"Where are you rushing to?" Gwen questioned, pulling her brows together.
"Going to get some ice. I thought you said you were going to sleep. What are you doing here?" Ginger frowned at her, recalling what Mary told her when she had asked about the girl the time she returned to the room after reporting Ellie's absence to Enrique.
