One month later…

In the military hospital hallway, Dr. Xiao was walking along with her assistant clad in scrub. Both of them were wearing masks as they conversed quietly to each other. Everyone who passed by thought that Dr. Xiao was imparting some important knowledge to the assistant. As such, they merely greeted her with quiet greetings of 'good morning, doctor' before continuing on their way. Dr. Xiao was a renowned figure in the medical field and everyone had gotten used to people trailing after her, wishing that she could be interested in taking them under her tutelage.

That was how Zachary – aka the little assistant – was able to evade suspicion up until they arrived at the former Crown Prince's medical room.

Coincidentally, it was the period for shift change. There was no one guarding in front, enabling Zeke to enter smoothly with the help of Dr. Xiao's permission card.

I know it's been hinted that the only person in this world who wants Zeke dead is the former Crown Prince and tada— now we know for certain that he's the person behind the bugs in the simulator! His goal is to make Zeke die in the kitten's body so his real body will go through brain failure. It's such a pity that Zeke met LYZ in the end...

Actually I really want to write a chapter from the Crown Prince's POV, but lemme just say it here. Actually, it's not like he doesn't know that he should stop hating. But his whole life, he has directed all of his negative emotions toward one person. Back then, he still has a lot of reasons to hate Zeke, but now the reasons are lost but he still can't let go. If he doesn't hate Zeke, then who should he hate?

In conclusion, this is all the King's fault!!
