"What were you talking about with Jia Yi?" asked Song Liya.
"Nothing important, more importantly, why are you so sweaty? Did you run all the way here?" asked Yu Yingyi.
"Of course, I couldn't wait to see you so I decided to rush over." Song Liya replied.
"Shower and come back, there's something I'd like to talk about with you both," said Yu Yingyi.
"There is? Then I'll hurry up, but this better not be something silly."
"Have I ever discussed something silly?"
"Hmm, I guess not."
"Ahem." Jia Yi coughed to remind them she was still there.
"Anyways, you should hurry up and shower. I want to talk about something important," said Yu Yingyi.
"Alright, I'll be back in four minutes and fifty-two seconds."
And Song Liya was right on time, after four minutes and fifty-two seconds, she came back while looking like she was glowing. Did a goddess possess her or something?
"Alright, what did you want to talk about?" asked Song Liya.
"Before I start, this includes Jia Yi," said Yu Yingyi.
"It does?" Jia Yi asked surprised.
"Yep, after all, I'd like to propose a deal with you," said Yu Yingyi.
Jia Yi felt confused and surprised, why did the prince want to make a deal with her? There was nothing she could give them and there was nothing they could give her, so what was it?
However, Song Liya wanted to hear this since she felt like Yu Yingyi was going to say something she wanted to say. Moreover, why is there a bowl and a spoon with bits of porridge on it? There's no way Yingyi fed Jia Yi, did she?
"Jia Yi, I want you to leave the empress's side and join ours, in return, I'll give you the best flower shop there is in the world," said Yu Yingyi.
Song Liya was surprised by what Yu Yingyi said despite expecting it, but she was confused at the flower shop part.
Jia Yi widened her eyes when she heard what the prince said, she was surprised that such a deal was proposed to her. However, she didn't know if she wanted to agree to it or not. If she left the empress's side, that would mean betraying her majesty.
"Also, don't worry about betraying the empress. If she doesn't know, then you're not betraying her, plus if she did find out, the princess here can easily cover you," said Yu Yingyi as she turned over to Liya. "Isn't that right?"
Song Liya glared at Yingyi and sighed, there was no way she could deny her. "Yes, but that's only if you decided to help us, otherwise, don't even think about it."
"But aren't you worried about being betrayed by me?" asked Jia Yi.
"Nope, after all, if you decided to help us, there will be no betrayal at all. After all, if you betray us, who's going to help you besides your mother? But your mother made a deal with the empress, you'll have no one to turn to." said Yu Yingyi.
"It seems that you've already thought about this," said Jia Yi.
"Well, preparation is important," said Yu Yingyi.
Jia Yi started thinking about the deal that was proposed to her, if she accepted, that would mean she had to help the prince and the princess which overall doesn't seem like a bad idea. She would also get her own flower shop and would be able to experience the happiness she felt in her old days.
"Before I say anything, will the flower shop be my old one or a new one?" asked Jia Yi.
"Of course it'll be a new one, however, you can tell me the way you want it to be and I'll design it for you," said Yu Yingyi.
"And all I have to do is leave the empress's side and join you both?" asked Jia Yi.
"Yep, but also remember, the balance of the deal must be equal otherwise one side would be losing profit," said Yu Yingyi.
Jia Yi didn't know what she meant by that but nodded anyway. If she stayed at the empress's side, there would be nothing for her, so why should she stay?
The sound of a flower shop specially designed by the prince sounded much better, plus, she would be able to see her flowers again.
"Alright, I accept the deal," said Jia Yi.
Yu Yingyi smiled, there was no way Jia Yi could refuse after all.
Jia Yi shook Yu Yingyi's hand, although she felt great about the deal, she also felt like she made a deal with the devil. There was no way right?
Song Liya was surprised at how easy it went, she thought Jia Yi would want something more valuable like money, jades, or anything expensive. She never thought Jia Yi would accept a flower shop.
"You see Liya, people find different things important to them. In Jia Yi's case, it's not money or anything similar to that, it's happiness," said Yu Yingyi, she hoped to see the bright Jia Yi again.
"What're you trying to say?" asked Song Liya.
"Nothing, I just wanted to say that you shouldn't find some things valuable, money can be lost and obtained. However, happiness can be lost and never obtained again," said Yu Yingyi.
"Then it seems I'm fine, after all, you're the one I value most and there's no way I'm going to lose you," said Song Liya as she wrapped her arms around Yingyi's waist.
"Yes, yes, you're not going to lose me and I'm not going to lose you. We're meant to be together, aren't we?" asked Yu Yingyi.
"Of course, our love will be forever prospering, no obstacle can break us apart," said Song Liya.
Jia Yi stared at the bright pink atmosphere with lilies around them, this made her heart ache since she also wanted something like this with someone.
"Ahem, can I get untied now?" Jia Yi interrupted before the two could go any further.
Yu Yingyi and Song Liya looked away from each other.
"Right, let me get a knife to set you free."
