There was a chance that all of this was planned to take out the entire functions, but then maybe, just maybe this was for them all to remember what Kawai used to be before the Lycan king lost everything and went back to his default settings. 

What they had gone through as a kingdom was the kind of horror that not even time would be able to cleanse because no matter what they did, the tragedy would forever remain on the lips of the immortals. 

Theirs would be a history that would never be forgotten… Maybe in three thousand years' time which wasn't even a long time, seeing as most of the factions were immortal. It was a dangerous gamble and yet the gates had still opened.
