章節 4: Chp 4:A Vampire!
Evan POV:
"You think I'm just gonna sleep here like nothing happened?"Lucas snarled.
Taken aback by this sudden question, my eyes widened.
'Why didn't my compulsion work? I did it correctly. It should have worked. so why didn't it?'
"Unbelievable! You attack me and want me to act like it never happened!?" He yelled.
Lucas stormed back outside with almost steam forming from his ears, slamming the door behind him.
'My compulsion failed me. It didn't work.'
'He hates me now, no doubt. What have I done?'
LUCAS POV:
'What the hell was that!?' Thoughts zoomed around my head attempting to make sense of the predicament.
'Why did his eyes glow red? Were those fangs piercing from his mouth? Why did he attack me then let me go? Why did he want me to forget?'
I ran out on to the street and walked along the dimly lit pavement. It was pitch black outside but I needed to get out of that situation and clear my head.
Questions consumed my mind. So I didn't care where I was going right now, I just needed to get out.
'Wait, red eyes, sharp fangs, licking my neck!He couldn't be a Vampire, right?'
'I mean they're just myth right? Monsters from fairytales. There's no way vampires exist, they just can't.'
But just as if the universe was trying to prove me wrong, red glowing eyes peered at me through the darkness.
'What the hell is that? It's not Evan trying to pull a trick on me agian is it?'
The scarlet orbs disappeared as soon as they made direct eye contact with me.
I could feel a shiver fall down my spine from my imagination going wild. 'It's not another vampire, right? I really hope it's not. What are the chances of no vampires for all of my 24 years of life and now two in one day. What is happening to my life?'
"Ooooh, you smell scrumptious indeed." croaked a voice from behind me.
I flinch and turn around in an instant, on the defensive mode. 'like hell I'd let a repeat of the incident before happen again.' I jump backwards and see a figure of a normal middle aged man standing there with a friendly smile.
"W-what do you want" my voice quavered.
"Is there always something someone wants? Can't I just compliment you on your tantalizing scent?"
"You speak of me as if I am food."
"ohh do I? Well maybe that's because you are!"
In a matter of seconds the mans innocent smile turns into a expression of hunger and desire as his fangs grow and his eyes shine a deep colour of red.
The now monstrous man jumps at me and tackles me to the floor.
"Get off me... YOU FREAK OF NATURE!" I yell as if it will give me more strength to fight off his overwhelming power.
"Oh ho ho ho, that's not very nice. I only want a taste, after all you do smell so very delicious, Your basically asking to be devoured!"
Before I had a ways to rebuttle back a sharp pain pierced through me. His fangs were digging into my neck. The pain was excruciating as if someone was drilling two holes into me.
Tears leaked down from my eyes, and a wave of absolute fear of being eaten drowned me.
'Somebody, anybody, please save me from this miserable end!'
