Michael looked at Wendy, heartbroken and helpless. Wendy turned to him and asked, "I would like to ask you, Mr. CEO, how do you plan on compensating me?"

Michael took a deep breath. "I know you are not short of money, and any form of materialistic compensation is meaningless," he said. After speaking, Michael lowered his head slightly and turned to his bodyguard. "Pass me a dagger," he ordered.

The bodyguard had no idea what Michael was going to do with it, but he passed the dagger regardless. Yonina and Wendy watched Michael hold on to the dagger, not knowing what he was going to do for a moment. When they finally realized, the dagger had already been stabbed into Michael's chest.

The preexisting wound on his chest worsened after the stabbing. The pain Michael felt left him unable to stand straight and he fell to the ground.

Yonina immediately went up and grabbed him. "Are you out of your mind, Michael? You don't have to be so extreme!"
