Liu Longwei shrugged, "I didn't think it was necessary. I thought since you already complimented, why giving excuses instead of accepting it, so, I accepted it".

Chen Lihua thought she just heard the biggest joke in the world, so she said in English, "Like seriously, are you for real now?".

Liu Longwei made a sign with his hands as if saying calm down, "Heh! don't get angry so soon, am not done explaining. The car actually belonged to me before My mother snatched it from me".

Chen Lihua was surprised, 'did I just here snatch?'.

Madam Liu didn't even allow Chen Lihua to say anything before cutting Liu Longwei off, "Longwei I dare you to say that I snatched your car from you again?".

Liu Longwei looked helpless, having women around him was torturous. He was trying to please Chen Lihua by explaining and then angered his mother in the process.

'What a world!'.

Liu Longwei had no choice than to rephrase his words, "As I was saying, This was my car before my mother took it from me because she liked it".

"Oh!", Chen Lihua replied simply while Madam Liu who was anticipating Liu Longwei's next words, relaxed.

Asst Duyi really pitied his boss. It was as if he was a football in the midst of two players leaving his fate to be determined by them.

Asst Duyi sighed softly and focused on his driving while leaving his two ears to scoop more gossips behind.

So, Asst Duyi concentrated on the driving while waiting to hear more matters arriving from behind, Madam Liu fiddled with her phone, Liu Longwei looked at his wrist watch while checking the time and then looking ahead through the windscreen.

And here comes our female lead, Chen Lihua looking at the night view through the car window.

While looking out through the car window, Chen Lihua noticed an object with a faint light around it flying high up in the sky.

She would have kept calm and continued watching it silently but something happened.

She noticed that the object was flying in the same direction as the Lincoln SUV they were all in.

Whenever the Lincoln SUV made a turn, the object would also follow immediately and make a turn.

On closer observation, Chen Lihua discovered that the object was a drone.

She was more surprised when she found out what the object was, and so she wondered why a drone has been following them all these time.

So, she turned to Liu Longwei and asked, "Longwei look", Chen Lihua said pointing through the car window and towards the direction of the drone.

"This drone has been following us and I just noticed that few minutes ago. Do you think some people are monitoring you?"

Liu Longwei looked towards the direction Chen Lihua was pointing at and saw the drone.

Then as he heard Chen Lihua's words, he let out a light chuckle so as not to embarrass.

"Nobody is monitoring us. It's one of Liu family's security system".

Seeing how surprised Chen Lihua was, Liu Longwei explained more.

"Since it's so late, the bodyguards can easily loose track of us and there maybe any danger at that time. So, they will follow us and also use the drone to monitor the US and the cars around us in case of any casualties".

Chen Lihua was even more surprised when she understood what he said. She was truly amazed.

And she also understood something, 'Money and power could make things happen'.

"If you really need so much survey and bodyguards protecting you, then I think you've made quite some enemies out there".

Liu Longwei chuckled, "I don't make enemies, and at the same time can't help having enemies. If anyone should be at the top of the food chain, he would definitely attract predators, just like the way honey attract bees. This simply means the higher you go, the more your enemies are plotting your downfall so you could be at any danger and at any time. You may not even be prepared when the danger comes, so you have to be cautious and attentive and also take every preventive measures".
