章節 28: Chapter 28: Spider's Song

A glimpse of the Teufel’s gaze flashes in my mind. His black eyes pierce my soul with a sense of disappointment. 'He's right, I cannot submit to defeat!' A surge of energy swarms through every fiber of my body. I begin to feel the presence of Hageleis within me. 'Focus,' I command myself.

I glance ahead at the attacking guard. He screams while brandishing his steel. 'I've already injured some on my own.' I conclude that in order to reach the library, I cannot do so without some assistance. I draw in a deep breath. As if by instinct, I raise my palm towards the enemy.

"Einfrieren!" The Teufel’s voice emerges from my mouth.

The midnight blue energy swarms through my arm and extends outward. While using Zauberei, I am able to subdue the guards. Those struck with the Teufel’s spell are frozen in place. 'Du hast nicht viel Zeit,' Hageleis warns me from within my thoughts.
