Theren opened his eyes, looking up at the dark ceiling of a cave. The smell of sweat and pheromones, coming from the many others sleeping near him. 

Spartan soldiers. It was dawn, and they still remained in slumber as he rose to his feet. 

What a strange dream that was. He can barely recall most of it, but he felt like he had such a long journey that would even rival that of Orpheus and all the other greats. 

He can hear a poet in his head, some muse saying nonsensical things to him.

"Walk, child of Pan, child of Chaos

Walk into the land of delirious memories

Seek recollection, but know that it will disappear

As memories fade like tears in your face"
