章節 8: Chapter : 8 ( Trouble with fangs)
Next morning
Zune's POV :
I woke up in morning with a severe burning on my mouth. I got up and took a cold shower. As I looked into the mirror I saw my mouth swelling.
It felt strange. I opened my mouth and saw my gums were turning red and swelled up. I picked my clothes from closet and changed into it.
I grabbed a scarf to cover my mouth and run towards Ashley's room. I knocked on her door but she didn't answer so I went inside room as door was unlocked.
She was in her deep sleep and I could hear her snor. I went near to her and saw her fangs while her mouth were open while sleeping. I was a little bit nervous though I knew she was vampire and had fangs.
" A-Ashley wake up." I poked her , sat on her bed and said in a shivering voice. It was difficult for me to talk due to pain.
She woke up with sleepy eyes, yawned and suddenly started to laugh.
" Zune stop making stupid face this early. " She said laughing.
" Stop it Ashley. Its paining." I said covering my mouth with hand.
" I'm sorry. I didn't knew your mouth was swelling. I thought you were making funny face." She said chuckling.
I rolled my eyes holding my mouth with hands.
" Let me see what's the matter."She said and told me to open my mouth.
I opened my mouth and she smiled.
" You are about to get fangs Zune. Congratulations." She said with happiness.
" Fangs? like yours?" I said with amusement.
" Yes like ours'. You are slowly turning into Vampire. Its painful thing when fangs pierce out for first time but slowly you will get used to it." She said while getting out of bed.
" Umm.. Ashley? Vampires don't resist sun, do they? I read about it somewhere that Vampires can't resist sunlight."I asked curiously.
" Yes you're right but its for new vampires like you. After some months you will gain capability to resist sun." She said softly.
" But Ash.. upto now I could walk in sun." I said.
" Its because you have some human character left and you're not turned completely. You will face difficulty after your fangs grow properly." She said while making her bed.
" Now just tell me how to get rid of this pain. I'm talking with so much difficulty. Help me Ash." I said in low voice.
" Just go to kitchen and get a ice pack over your swollen mouth. It will ease your pain." She said calmly.
I nodded my head and walked towards kitchen. I was searching for ice pack but couldn't find it.
" Searching for something?" A voice came from behind.
It was Kyle. I turned around. He saw my face and said " So new vampire having trouble with new fangs, don't you?" and chuckled.
" Are you hear to tease me?" I said giving him devil look.
" No No...I am here to drink water but I can help you for finding ice pack." He said coming towards me.
I got a shiver through my spines when he was near to me. He came close to me and I walked backward slowly until I got pinned to the cupboard.
He came closer to me and my heart beat increased. I closed my eyes thinking what he was about to do but he raised his hands and got a ice pack from the freezer which was just above of me.
I breath out a long breath.
" You okay?" He said giving me a ice pack and there was smirk on his face.
He was this closer to me intentionally.
I nodded my head saying yes and took ice pack from his hand. I walked out of kitchen and was about to go towards my room but suddenly someone pulled me from behind and I got into an empty room.
I turned around and saw Lexa standing there. She was the one who pulled me.
" First you insulted me and then you were sticking with my Kyle. What's wrong with you girl?" She said groaning. Her fangs were protuding out in anger.
I was scared but I couldn't show her that I was scared so I stayed confident crossing my arms.
" I have nothing to do with your Kyle. He is the one who comes closer so don't blame me. And you were insulting my friends so I defended them so stay out of my way." I said and walked towards the door.
She pulled me again and grabbed on my hand tightly.
" I don't know anything. Just stay away from my Kyle or I will not spare you and your friends." She whispered.
" Don't think that you can scare me girl. As I said earlier I have nothing to do with Kyle. Stop your nonsense and go to your Kyle. There are so much girls he can flirt within this palace." I said with a smirk.
She let go of my hand and pointed index finger to me.
" You will pay for everything." She said and walked out of room.
I also walked out of room and got into my room.
I kept icepack on my mouth with one hand and went to balcony for fresh air. I was thinking what I would do after I start having troubles with resisting sunlight.
I always loved to be in a sunny day and now I will get trouble with it. I took a long breath and looked around the garden.
Kyle's POV :
The day before was a big mess. I had to be with Lexa most of the time hearing her nonsense for nothing.
Lexa can never be nice to anyone and she had arguments with Zune at the day of arrival. She never argued with anyone and Lexa was first.
I enjoyed how Zune got Lexa on her line. Noone could argue with her but Zune handled everything.
I woke up this morning thinking all this. I took a shower and went towards hall but I saw Zune running towards kitchen covering her mouth with scarf.
I also followed her and saw she was searching for something. I approached her and asked if she needed anything.
She turned around and her scarf fell down. Her mouth was swelling and I just knew the reason why. She was about to get her fangs and I know how that hurts.
I realized that she was searching for icepacks to relief pain and Ashley must have told her. I always loved to mess with her so I went towards her and she went backwards until there was no space to move backward.
She closed her eyes and was turning red. I gazed at her for a moment and felt that the time froze. Her mouth was swelling but I was seeing her beautiful then also.
She was so innocent I thought to myself and raised hand to get icepack from the cupboard. She was breathing fast and I could feel her hot breath on my neck which gave me a spark on my chest.
I stepped little backward and she opened her eyes. I gave her icepack. I had smirk on my face so she understood that I was messing with her.
She glowed and blushed and left the kitchen running after snatching icepacks from my hand. That was kind of sweet. Actually she was sweet.
She had different effect on me which I felt right from the moment I saw her for first time. I don't know what was that feeling and whether it was right or wrong but it had different kind of effect on me.
I was getting out of kitchen and saw Lexa coming out of the room opposite to kitchen. She seemed angry as she walked by groaning with tight fist. After few moment Zune also came out from same room.
I got worried. Lexa was angry and Zune was with her that means she might have hurt Zune. I immediately ran towards her room to check if she was fine.
I ran and stopped at the door and knocked.
" Come in" a soft voice came from inside of room.
I opened the room and saw Zune standing on the balcony putting icepack on her swollen mouth. The wind was blowing and her open hair was also dancing with the flow of wind.
She turned around and some hair was covering her face. I slowly went towards her. I removed all hair from her face and tucked it into her ear. I felt her soft skin which caused shiver through my body.
She was shy and looked at her foot.
" Hey, are you fine?" I said raising her chin with my hand.
She looked at me with those beautiful shiny eyes, gave a short smile and said " Yes. I'm relieved by this icepack."
She showed icepack while saying this.
I grabbed her soft hands and said " I'm not talking about icepack. What's the deal with Lexa? I saw you both coming out of room and she was quiet pissed off. Did she say anything?" I said in a serious tone.
"Calm down Kyle. She can't do anything with me. She was trying for new arguments and I didn't gave any interest so she left getting angry." She said chuckling.
I was not convinced by her explanation. So I decided to give a little visit to Lexa and went towards her room.
What will happen next? Will Kyle find out about Lexa threatening Zune or not?
