"Xin Ye? Gu Xin Ye?"

Gu Xin Ye snapped out of her trance and finally saw Lin Qiao standing in front of her. Their gazes met and Lin Qiao flashed a smile. 

"Why are you in a daze?" Lin Qiao chuckled. "Have you been listening to me?"

"I am." Gu Xin Ye lied. She could not remember much about what Lin Qiao had said. Her mind was replaying the scene where Qin Zhan was touching the corner of her lips last night and the way he pulled her closer to him when they were avoiding passersby.

Gu Xin Ye lowered her head so that Lin Qiao would not be able to see her reddened face.

"Then, I'll just put the documents here," Lin Qiao said. "Xin Ye, don't forget to check on them before signing them."

"Un. I know."

Gu Xin Ye shifted her gaze to her computer again, wanting to check on some documents. However, her eyes gaze fell on the clock instead. Gu Xin Ye stood up immediately and gasped.
