The journey to L City was too quiet. 

Gu Xin Ye looked at the road straight ahead while keeping her eyes on the person in the passenger's seat. The moment they entered the vehicle, Gu Xin Ye noticed how Qin Zhan would glance at his phone. 

She knew that Qin Zhan was worried about Grandpa Chen.

Her mouth opened and closed a few times. Gu Xin Ye wanted to say a few words to comfort Qin Zhan. However, she did not know what she should say or how she should be saying it. After all, she did not know much about the old man's condition.

She remembered her talk with Luo Qi about the old man not too long ago. According to them, their grandfather was the kindest person they knew. 

Gu Xin Ye had never met that old man. However, she felt that what Luo Qi said might be right. After all, the old man had taken Qin Zhan under his care and raised him until he became who he was now.
