章節 92: Itri's wrath

Itri hurried outside in search of the King, her palms turning clammy in nervousness. Though she had mustered up the courage the speak to the King, she was losing her confidence as she took each step closer to him. 'What am I going to speak? What will I ask him? What should I say?' She wondered, her mind refusing to send any coherent answers at this time. 

In her midst of thinking, she did not notice the King's men appearing out of nowhere to stop her from moving forward. The King was still conversing with the old matron, and he had given strict instructions to not allow anyone to interrupt them.

Itri would have smacked into one of the guards if Kenneth had not held her in time. The sudden touch startled the girl, and she jumped in her place. "What..." She was almost about to shriek in fear when she stopped herself after seeing who it was. Her eyes widened slightly before they went back to normal.
