章節 1: Prologue
Wet ground, traces of rain that flushed Bandung city all night. Even though it's just a speck. It's enough to make a puddle of water on the sunken ground.
The tomb smelled of wet earth, and the atmosphere was silent.
"Honey..." came from behind the man. A woman who came with a boy with an umbrella in the other hand.
"Are you done drinking, boy?" the man asked the son who was in his wife's arms.
"Yes," replied the boy with a childish slurred tongue. The boy is only 3 years old and still drinking formula milk.
"Smart daddy's kid!" praised the man, rubbed his son's head, then kissed his wife's cheek.
"Come here," the man continued, and took over his son from his wife.
After handing the child over to her husband. The woman walked closer to the tomb, which was regularly cleaned by the tomb guards so that there was no excessive weed there.
After reading the prayer, the woman rubbed the tombstone made of ceramic. Then she said. "May you be happy there," she said, and rose from her crouching position.
"You didn't swear at the corpse out of jealousy, right?" The man teased the wife.
"I'm not!" replied the woman sullenly.
"But I'm jealous, you visit him regularly,"
"Only 2 times with this!" said the man, pulling his wife into a hug.
The wife put on a sulky face then the man whispered to his wife. "I want to eat you when you sulk like that!"
The wife, tempted by the man, instantly bit her husband's arm. The child saw his mother's behavior also imitated.
"Akhh..."
