章節 11: I am Yami!
It was already dark when Kira finished his training session for today. He lifted up his head and looked at the starry night.
He looked at the wooden sword in his hand and waved it in front of him.
Swoosh!
Triple stab!
Shing! Shing! Shing!
In an instant Kira thrust his sword three times.
«Triple stab» and «Hyper punch» were the combat arts he bought from the system using essence points. During this week he always extended his training session to practice this two combat arts. Right now, he could accurately execute this two combat arts.
"Good, I've already managed to grasp it." Kira muttered as he rested the wooden sword on his shoulder. This wooden sword was a gift to him from the dojo master.
The middle-aged man already left so he was the only one here in the woods. He doesn't used his skill in front of the middle-aged man to avoid confusion. Well, he was sure the middle-aged man wouldn't ask him about that because of what happened to the high grade mana stone. He didn't asked Kira about those stones.
"It's already dark, I should go back now." Kira muttered as he picked up his bag and walked out of the woods.
He went to the convenience store and bought some food ingredients. He was going to fill his refrigerator with foods and snacks.
"This would be enough for a few weeks." Kira said while looking at the plastic bag in his hand.
Bang!
Bang!
Kira heard a gunshot on the back alley. Even though it wasn't loud, he still heard it because of his superhuman senses.
"Hmm...? I heard something. It sounds like a gunshot."
He turned his head and looked at the small and dark path. It seems that the gunshot came here.
He looked around him and saw that the person walking behind him didn't heard the gunshot.
'Hmm...? Should I go and test my strength.' Kira put his hand on his chin and pondered what he should do. If he go there he was bound to get into trouble. Is the trouble worth it?
'I should observe the situation first.' Kira thought. He observed his surroundings and saw a four black cars.
"Is this the car of those people?"
He walked towards the car and observed it. From the looks of it, it seems the cars were a luxurious type. He doesn't have any knowledge about car so he couldn't tell.
But...
Why those people from underground like black cars? They were making it too obvious if they bring a black car.
He walked towards the dark alley and took out a small towel inside his bag. He used the towel to cover his face.
"I look like a hoodlum right now." Kira muttered while looking at his reflection from his mobile phone.
He looked up and slightly bent his knees. He then jumped high enough and grabbed the corner of the roof before he pulled himself in and gently landed on the roof.
"Hu~"
Kira placed his bag and his groceries at the corner before he went down.
...
He went to where he heard the gunshot. There, he saw five people lying down on the ground. The five people all had a small hole in their chest or head.
"Oh shit! those people are dead!" Kira said in a low voice only he could hear. He instantly panicked and took a step back. This was the first time he saw a dead person.
The smell of blood and gun powder entered his nose. He felt a little nausea from this. When he felt that he was about to puke, he quickly activated his skill.
«Calm Mind»
He instantly felt refresh and a strange feeling entered his body. He looked at the dead bodies before he turned his head away.
This wasn't in his expectations. He should've know this when he heard those gunshot but he subconsciously deny it. Now that he saw this, he could only face the reality that these people here were killing each other.
He looked ahead and still heard the gunshot. He made up his made and stepped forward. The sound of gunshot grew louder and louder everytime he took a stepped forward.
He arrived at the scene.
He saw an old man hiding in the boxes while holding a pistol in his hand. Every seconds the old man would fire at his enemies. The old man aimed his gun at the three men and fire.
"Damn! I run out of ammo!" The old man cursed. He doesn't have a spare magazine so he could only curse.
"Quick! An opportunity!"
Three men wearing black outfit immediately rushed as soon as they saw that the old man run out of ammo.
The old man threw his pistol at one of the three men. The man didn't manage to react on time as the pistol crashed on his head. The old man maneuver himself as he jump at the side on the wall to the top of the boxes. The two men stopped on their track and lifted up their pistol.
Bang! Bang!
The old man landed in front of the two men and quickly launched a fierce punch.
Bam!
He then grabbed their hands and stole their pistol before firing it to the men, instantly killing the two men.
"That old man is something else." Kira commented when he saw the old man fought. He felt that the strength that old man possesses weren't something am ordinary person could have.
The old man put his hand on his stomach. He then raised his palm and saw that it was full of blood.
"Oh! He took a hit." Kira said. He thought that the old man managed to avoid the bullet, but it seems that was not the case. Even Kira couldn't follow the bullet with his own eyes he could still somewhat see its trajectory. He learned many things from the middle-aged man.
The old man turned around to escape but another man intercepted him. The two exchanged blows against each other. The blow they threw was stronger than what Kira imagined.
"I didn't think that I would see someone this strong when I was about to go home." Kira said in a low voice as he watched the fight of the old man.
It took five minutes before the old man killed the man and he took a heavy injury. The old man sat in a corner breathing heavily. He tore a piece of his clothes and wrapped it around his arm.
The old man looked around him and shouted, "Come out now! I can feel you're eyes on me!"
'This old man could feel my presence' Kira was surprised that the old man felt his presence here in the dark. He was sure that he was hiding carefully.
"I can feel your gaze!" The old man shouted.
Kira sighed and he slowly walked out of his hiding spot. He revealed himself to the old man.
The old man looked at the one who walked out. He was surprised when he saw the person who was hiding in the dark was a young man.
The old man looked at the young man up and down. The young man was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts. He covered his face with a towel. Despite his plain clothes, he gaves off an eerie vibe. Just from that vibe the old man already guessed that the young man was not normal person.
Kira was wearing this clothes he doesn't want his uniform to get dirty during his training. His teacher always made him roll on the ground.
The old man looked at the dead body and then at the young man. 'This Young man was still calm despite there corpses beside him.' The old man thought.
This young man was dangerous. He felt that he couldn't defeat him even if he was at his peak.
'Is he an assassin they sent to kill me? Should I probe him?' The old man thought while looking at the young man.
The old man opened his mouth and asked, "Who are you?"
"Hmm~ who am I? That's a good question." Kira muttered in a low voice as he put his hand in his chin.
The old man looked at him warily. He frowned looking at Kira who was saying something to himself.
"I am Yami..." Kira said to the old man. He decided to not reveal his true name to this stranger.
"What are you doing here? Did they also ask you to kill me? If so then how much they pay? I can pay you two fold of what they pay?" The old man asked him.
"Oopps!! Stop old man, Ask one at a time!" Kira said to the old man.
The old man's question started to sink into his mind. A strange idea came to his mind.
"They paid me 300k bill to bring your head." Kira smirked as he raised three of his finger.
