George sat on the stool beside Anna's bed. It was at this moment he began to breathe steadily because he had at least made Anna comfortable.
Anna wasn't relieved yet but she felt comfortable, lying on the bed and holding the heat bag. The heat bag was so helpful. It was making her feel weak and sleepy.
George on the other hand was stroking Anna's hair, multiplying the urge for her to sleep. George watched Anna's reaction and saw that she was still in pain.
But it wasn't as sharp as it was before. The pills helped Anna to fall asleep and when George saw that Anna had fallen asleep, he smiled.
"Thank goodness," George uttered. He didn't expect Anna's menstrual pain to be this intense. Jessica's period gave her problems with walking but it didn't give her this much pain.
George watched Anna until he was pushed to lie on the bed with her. "I can't leave because you might wake up in the night, seeking my assistance so I'll stay here."
