章節 24: 24. A woman feeling like a woman

George's gaze was directly focused on the road with Anna on his mind. Yes, all they should focus on at the moment should be about her recovery and safety but he just couldn't help it.

His eyes were tempted to turn again and stare at her thigh. She was wearing a long gown but why did it have to be thigh-slitted? It wasn't helping at all, especially when he had strong feelings for her.

George eventually turned to look at her smooth heavy thigh and lifted his hand to help him maintain focus.

If Anna could move the gown to cover her leg she'd have done it. "I love it when you wear clothes like this. It looks beautiful on you and I get attracted to you but still, I'll want you to be comfortable when you are around me…" George planned to cover her exposed thigh.

Anna, who already knew where he was going, cut him off. "That's very considerate of you, Master George but guess what? I like it. I like the dress and I like that I'm making you uncomfortable. It makes me feel like a woman," Anna proudly explained.

"So leave my dress this way and thank you for buying me dresses like these. Are you happy with the way the clothes look on me?" Anna questioned with a mischievous smile on her face.

"Anna," George was stunned and stopped the car but Anna didn't look around her, she only focused her gaze on the man sitting beside her.

"You know," George smiled, his ear turning all red again.

'He gets easily flattered by me and I don't know why I just like seeing him react this way. Am I wicked?' Anna asked herself. 'Don't tell me that I'm…' she gasped internally. '... I'm seducing George?'

"This is the first time you said something like this and your intention of seducing…me," saying this seemed to make him even more affected. "Anna, I didn't want to say this but you've changed so much," he uttered.

"Don't you like it?" Anna asked.

'What is wrong with me?! Am I supposed to be acting all flirty? Is it because he touched my thigh? How beautiful, I can feel Anna's body as if it's mine. Well, it is mine now and I did like how George stroked my thigh earlier. He just shouldn't repeat the action. I do like it but I'm not ready to commit to such things. I need to focus and stay stern like I was in my past life. I shouldn't also feel guilty for the way Anna treated him in her past life. Because if I continue to feel that way, I'll grow soft-hearted and dumb like the previous Anna and besides, I don't know if I should trust him yet.'

This was Anna's thought after realizing how deep she was going with George.

'Be very cautious, Anna' She knocked sensle to her head by herself.

"I like it, Anna. You are smart…and better," George found himself being unable to put words together to explain to Anna how he saw her after she woke up from her coma.

'Why the fuck am I so nervous to talk to her?' George then asked himself.

Anna nodded her head. "You helped me a lot and I am very grateful for what you did for me. Waiting for me to wake up and catering to my needs, paying my hospital bills, and watching over me. My boyfriend couldn't even do so…" Anna lowered her head. "Thank you, George."

George gulped. "Since when," he whispered and shook his head. "You are welcome, Anna. You know I'll do anything to make it up to you. If you want me away, I leave but I only came back to save you when I realized that something was wrong.

I know that even though I say that you can trust me, it is still going to be a little difficult for you to trust me but it's okay, I just have to prove myself.

First, let's eat something. You must be famished," George took her hand and squeezed it warmly with a smile on his face that made Anna's heart feel warm and gentle.

'Why is this so promising? And I'm so tempted to trust him like crazy.'

George released her hand and it was at this moment Anna learned that they were in front of a small restaurant.

Anna loved eating in small restaurants in her past life because they mostly served traditional meals but the real Anna seemed to be very much involved in foreign meals as she grew up with her parents in the States.

Anna's mother was from England. She was also the one who named Anna her name. Anna was raised in wealth but the new Anna wasn't.

'I hope that Anna's body accepts my liking' Anna said within herself, waiting for George to come for her.

He brought the wheelchair out and opened the car door to the passenger seat.

George bent and pierced his hand between the chair and Anna's legs and then he lifted her, causing her body to move closer to his.

Anna felt like a baby in George's arms. It seemed like she was wrong when she thought he'd get tired from carrying her because Anna appeared to have little weight.

George drew her closer to his body and looked down at Anna's face. "You are beautiful, don't mind me," he chuckled.

"I know, Master George. I am beautiful," Anna proudly said.

George laughed. "She's so proud," he said as he placed her gently on the chair.

When George squatted before Anna, she looked down at him and said a compliment. "You are handsome too, Master George. I must let you know that."

"Is that why Jessica is after you?" Anna's question shocked the man in front of her.

George glanced at Anna's attractive legs before standing up. He walked to Anna's back and began to push the chair.

"Are you interested in knowing what relationship I share with Jessica?" George asked.

"It's not necessary, It was just a question," Anna answered. "I don't need to know."

"What if I want to share it with you? We can be friends, right?" George asked.

"Friends?" Anna asked. "Aren't we fiance in front of your workers?"

"To ourselves," George said, looking around for a table. Eventually, he saw one close to the window and pushed Anna's chair in that direction.

Anna's mind was then filled with thoughts about herself and why she was going against the things she planned to do.

Perhaps she was this way because she had to rely on George. Once she starts walking and training Anna's body for fights and defense, she might be able to break free from this feeling disturbing her heart.
