Wei Yan understood her Madam when she was being scolded to leave the room. It was Master George's fault.
Madam had been waiting for his arrival since morning. Wei Yan noticed how impatient Anna was as she kept on asking about the time.
Then it became obvious that Anna couldn't wait to see George. She had even mentioned that the day was moving slowly.
But in the end, the man she was waiting for didn't show up. Master George was at fault.
Wei Yan saw that her Madam had fallen asleep and informed her Master as usual.
When Anna woke up the next morning, her anger seemed to have washed away and she felt calm. The lady opened her eyes slowly and stayed in that position for a while to remember the previous day.
The anger in her heart for George then returned but she was a bit weak so she only closed her eyes tight and groaned.
Anna turned to the other side of the bed to see if Wei Yan was in the room.
Wei Yan was standing by the wall and when she saw her Madam up, she immediately alerted her Master.
George knew Anna was upset as she gave him a hint with the tone and statement she used to reply to him over the call last night.
Anna saw George sitting on the couch with a big dog. The dog was a golden retriever and the sight of him brightened Anna's mood.
For a moment, she forgot that George was in the room and watched the dog.
Wei Yan walked forward to help Madam to sit up and after this action, she left the room because of Master George's indication.
"Good morning, beautiful," George uttered, reminding Anna that he was in the room and that she was mad at him.
Anna lifted her gaze and threw a killer glare his way.
"Oh, that killed me," George touched his chest.
He was always this way with Anna in the past. Anna was just too blinded by Wang Lixin that she couldn't see how handsome George was.
George's black hair was slicked to the back of his head with some strands hanging in front of his head like bangs.
His eyes were black and were shaped sexily. One would think he was falling in love with everything he laid his eyes on.
Tall as fuck. Always looked hot in whatever he had on. He wasn't in a suit today so he probably didn't go to work.
"Oh, I wish," Anna looked away after glaring at him. It only made her dizzy so she had to look away.
"I'm sorry, princess," George uttered after a moment of silence. It felt like a wave that came and passed.
"Stop calling me those names, I feel uneasy with them," Anna turned to him, complaining.
"I skipped work because of you, Anna. This shows how sorry I am to break my promise. If you want me to pay for my mistake, I'll gladly do so and if you want to punish me, I'm ready to get punished by you."
Anna glanced at him and scoffed. "You are a grown man, punishing you won't work," she uttered.
"It will. You punished me so much in the past. You use me when you are alone and ignore me the next moment as if I was just a tool to you but guess what, Anna?" George asked. "I didn't care because at least I was able to spend time with you," and he had a smile on his face.
"Stop it, George! It's too early for this," Anna immediately protested. George was being too handsome with a smile on his face and his remarks were making Anna feel wrong.
Although she wasn't the one who acted that way to George, Anna still felt bad.
"Please don't be upset, Anna. I even got you a dog to compensate for my attitude," George finally announced the purpose of bringing an adorable dog along with him.
Anna was impressed but she refrained from expressing it. She watched George walk over to her and the dog followed him.
George sat next to Anna, holding her eyes with his. "I did wrong, I agree," he uttered.
Anna looked away. 'What the fuck? Did I just stare into his eyes more than usual?'
'He is…a wizard. How was he able to do that?'
"Anna," George groaned her name in that manner.
'Stop calling my name that way!' Anna wished she could say it out loud at him but she stayed mute for a while.
"I really wanted to tell you some things but you were gone all day," Anna didn't know she was pouting.
Only George could see how cute she was while pouting like a kid.
"We'll talk about it after you've forgiven me," George uttered after satisfying himself by staring at her beautiful face for a while.
"I don't want to stop being upset," Anna uttered when she looked into his eyes. He was so freaking tall or maybe she was the short one but she had to look up as if she wanted to look at the sky just to see his face.
"Alright, I guess I'll have to work hard to earn your forgiveness," George stayed quiet for a while. "By the way, Doctor Zhao will be here soon with a therapist who will help you regain your strength and abilities. He's also bringing the results of the test conducted days before," George announced.
He then looked down at the dog and stroked his hair. The dog was beautiful.
"That's good news, I can't wait to walk," Anna uttered. "And do some things," she said.
"Don't worry, it's step by step, okay?" George was tempted to touch her small face but he knew Anna wouldn't like it so he used his facial expression to assure her.
Anna rocked her head and looked down at the dog. "A male or female?"
"Male, what should we name him?"
"Niko," Anna didn't have to think about it. She had a dog in her past life when she was young but he died with her father. Her dog was Niko.
"Niko it is then," George said.
"Can you help me sit on the chair?" Anna requested.
"Sure," George went to get the wheelchair and brought it close to her but when he wanted to carry her princess style, Anna refused, glaring at him.
"My hands are useless but I can still use them," she uttered and placed her hands around his neck.
With this closeness, George's heart began to race. 'Anna, do you know what you are doing?'
"You are so tall, so I want to let her legs down, straight as if I want to walk," Anna uttered, looking down at her body that was on the bed. She was still sitting.
"Alright, I understand you," George decided to help her.
While Anna was looking down at herself and how her legs would straighten, George wrapped his hands tightly around her waist and drew her closer to his body, perhaps he was losing control of himself or was assisting Anna because her legs were useless.
Anna suddenly raised her head but her action happened so fast and George wasn't expecting it.
If George knew Anna's next move, he'd have leaned back but he didn't so Anna's lips brushed his because he was lowering his head.
Anna looked back down at herself. "Damn, I can't feel my legs. It feels so empty," she uttered as if she didn't know what happened.
Anna looked at George again. This time he looked lost as if he was daydreaming. Anna glanced at his ears to see how red they'd become.
Anna rolled her eyes to the back of her head and pulled his hair as her hands were behind his head.
It felt like an achievement to Anna when she moved her fingers but her action only made the man holding her blush.
'What the hell is he thinking about?! I guess it was a bad idea to let him assist me. It has gotten into his stupid head'
