The trio moved at a moderate speed, not so fast and not so slow. Monitoring their surroundings keenly as they moved, they avoided as many traps as they could. 

Severus had a random thought and he shared it with them as soon as it crossed his mind. 

"It's possible that this is not just a ruined palace but an entire sunken city. Merfolk build entire kingdoms under the sea. In some cases, it's an entire world of water creatures, zero humans." 

Scarlet pursed her lips and hoped he was wrong. A sunken city would be a bigger challenge to maneuver than a ruined palace. They had already been moving for what felt like hours and found tons of wealth. 

They found gold, silver, pearls, jewels, energy stones, magical weapons and other things. Most were old and rusted, meaning that they had been down here for hundreds of years perhaps. 

Scarlet collected what she found useful, most of it to humans not necessarily to grim reapers.
