章節 41: You Like Her?
" Li Wei? " Wang Yong lifted his eyebrow, " How long has it been? Ten years? "
Hearing his old buddy answer him, Li Wei cracked a happy smile.
They both stepped closer and did their familiar handshake.
" Yeah, it's been ten years. Good to see you. " Li Wei patted his friend on the back.
Zhi Ruo slightly frowned as she saw them acting chummy.
" Well, if there is nothing else, I am going to work a bit more. I have a lot of paperwork to do. " Zhi Ruo calmly said before going up the stairs.
Looking at the slender girl going up the stairs with her cute white nightgown, both young men were entranced.
" Don't work too hard. " Wang Yong gently commented as she continued to walk up to the stairs.
" Hmm. " Zhi Ruo mumbled and disappeared to her workroom.
" Do you want to go out for drinks? I feel like we have a lot to catch up on. " Li Cheng proposed to Wang Yong.
" I can't drink much but sure. " Wang Yong smiled.
" Auntie, uncle, Chao-Ge, I will be heading out for a while. " Wang Yong addressed.
" No problem but be careful of your health and don't drink too much. " Hui Yin cautioned.
" Bring a few bodyguards too. " Zhi Duyi said as he sipped his drink.
" Don't come home too late. " Zhi Chao also added.
" Hmm, thank you. I will be careful. " Wang Yong answered.
An indescribable sense of joy welled up in his heart, he felt like he had a complete family for once. He really enjoyed this family warmth.
" Let's go. " Li Wei said.
" Goodnight Mme Zhi, Mr.Zhi and young master Zhi. I shall come another time to discuss some matters. " Li Wei confidently told the family.
" Goodnight. " Zhi Duyi closed the conversation.
Wang Yong followed Li Wei and headed out.

" So, how is your investigation going? " Zhi Ruo asked Jiang Boxi over the phone.
" I did as you told and investigated his close subordinates and family members and it seems like there was a join complot happening between the scenes to bring Wang Yong down. I don't have enough evidence now so it's nothing certain yet but the case is rapidly moving forward. " Jiang Boxi quickly recapitulated.
" That's good, don't let them escape. Make sure you have every detail and that you block each loophole. " Zhi Ruo recommended.
" How about you? How is it going over there with Wang Yong? I heard from Fei Long that he is recovering at a phenomenal speed. " Jiang Boxi asked with a smile.
" Well if you already know that he is doing well, what else can I tell you? " Zhi Ruo answered.
" I heard that you and Wang Yong are very close and that you guys even sleep together now... " Jiang Boxi ambiguously said.
" It was only when he still had the mentality of a child. He recently recovered a part of his memories so we don't do that anymore. Either way, it was like sleeping with a little nephew or cousin, nothing like you imagined. " Zhi Ruo responded in an exasperated tone.
" Right... either way, I wanted to ask you something. " Jiang Boxi revealed.
" What? "
" Well recently there has been somebody trying to hack into Wang Yong's personal information and that person is very skilled, we barely managed to keep safe the last time it attacked the system. Do you have someone talented in that department? " Jiang Boxi directly demanded.
" Why would you ask me? " Zhi Ruo hesitated.
" ...I just thought you may know someone like that as you were aware of the Dragon clan...but if you don't it's fine. " Jiang Boxi explained.
Zhi Ruo took a few seconds to think, ' Should I help him? Nah... I don't have time as a CEO... but at the same time... '
Zhi Ruo sighed, " I know someone but that person is very busy and doesn't have time to stay on duty 24 hours so I'll ask that person to prepare a system with firewalls. Send me your current system so that the person can evaluate the difficulty level needed. "
" Thank you! I didn't know you knew that much about defence systems. "Jiang Boxi exclaimed.
"... I have been thinking of working on a project with the Xu Corporation who owns a gigantic technologic. " Zhi Ruo easily explained.
...
" I see...that's why you have been living with the Zhi family..." Li Wei downed his shot of alcohol.
" Are you okay now? " Li Wei asked.
"I am still recovering but I am doing better. " Wang Yong casually answered.
Currently, Wang Yong and Li Wei were at a fancy bar drinking while talking and reminiscing the past.
The two handsome men attracted a lot of attention but seeing that they were surrounded by bodyguards, all the women hoping to approach them backed off.
" Then what is your relationship with Zhi Ruo? I saw you sleeping in her bed last time? " Li Wei tried hard to conceal the jealousy in his voice.
" That was before I regained my memories...She just treated me like a little kid... it didn't mean much... " Wang Yong slowly reflected.
" It's better than to be hated by her... " Li Wei quietly confessed, his head drowsy.
" You like her? " Wang Yong questioned, his eyes grew deeper.
" I don't know...but I want to stay with her and watch her smile... " Li Wei honestly answered.
