章節 5: Gael

"At last he's growing up and not blindly following orders" an icy voice reverberated in the room.

"You are right, Master. But wasn't it imprudent to give him all that?" this time the voice was monotone, it belonged to Hadrix Fey's butler.

Hadrix looked at his butler and smiled showing all his teeth, "There was something else in my son's eyes...there was a lot of ambition."

The butler looked at him a little uncertainly and said to his master, "Isn't it normal to have ambition?"

Hadrix looked at him briefly and fixed his gaze on the papers and said, "It's not simple ambition, he had the same eyes as Agnes when she was still young."

The butler looked at him fearfully, "Master, you must watch your vocabulary, you know you can't talk about Miss Anges' age."

Hadrix looked at his butler with a bit of fear as he realized his mistake, "Don't say anything to my wife or she will kill me."

While the two men were in their chat.

Ezra was in his room typing like crazy on his laptop. The sound of the keyboard rang in the room for a while.

In a notes program, Ezra wrote down all the songs he produced in his previous life, with a note of what could be improved from it.

He didn't want to make the same songs and nothing else, he wanted to make them better, he wanted them to be better than they already were. Although not all the songs he produced were successful or great.

In his life as a singer, he wasn't all that successful, sure he was famous, but his most popular song had 200 million views, not a small number, but compared to other artists who had hits and more hits, he was nobody.

Of course that didn't discourage him, or anything like that, he simply had another passion which was clothing design, and that same passion he shared with his former best friend.

Lepnums was a success, earning millions and millions every day, being one of the biggest companies in the fashion industry.

POV (EZRA)

Finishing writing all my knowledge and details of some songs, I head to my closet to pack my bags, too bad there's not much variety of clothes there, and there are no brands of my taste in this world.

So I can only take to Los Angeles, expensive suits, shirts and shoes. Although it's not bad clothes, it's still not quite my taste.

Now I just have to wait to meet my new assistant/butler, and give him a couple of instructions.

I have to tell him to acquire a music studio, or I can just do the studio in the new house I move into. I suppose the latter would be the most ideal and convenient.

Then I have to get him to filter through all the fashion companies, and totally acquire one of them. A small company will do, plus I have plenty of time, I want to finish high school first.

So I'm going to focus more on music for now.

*cough* *cough*

Mm, I guess my dear assistant has arrived. Heading to the door with slow steps, I open the door slightly and there I saw an absolutely handsome man.

'Shit, he's ideal for me to model for.'

He has an expressionless face, slitted light blue eyes that looked at everything intently, a small nose and thick lips, along with his slightly brown skin color, he was a perfect model.

The man stared at me and opened his mouth, "A pleasure to meet you, Young master, my name is Gael, and I will be your new assistant."

Staring at him I realized that his eyes, not those of a normal person, this man was clearly very dangerous. Well, I have nothing to worry about, he is my assistant.

"The pleasure is mine, Gael, I hope we get along well and manage to work harmoniously. Oh... and don't call me Young Master, Ezra will do" dropping those words, I signal him to enter my room.

POV(Gael)

Young Master doesn't seem worthy enough for me to serve him, but I am following orders from Lord Hadrix, and as his most capable subordinate I will obey him.

But I still don't understand why he orders me to be Young master's assistant, I prefer the previous missions, not following Young master, who didn't even finish high school.

Although I never finished it, but I'm still a genius in his respective field, assassination and leadership.

I am the Leader of the "Order of Shadows", usually they call me Master of Shadows, codename "Z".

I am the only son of a peasant couple, born in South Africa, Cape Town, my parents were killed to settle debts, and I was enslaved and forced to fight in underground fights.

The first time I killed was when I was 13 years old, I fought another boy of about my age, I killed him with more than 30 stab wounds.

And so I spent my adolescence, fighting in underground fights and forced to train every day, when I turned 20, I was released and worked alone as a hitman, until one day I was ordered to assassinate a big shot who was in South Africa doing some business.

And that's where I met Mr. Hadrix, and the rest is a long story.

Back to the present, from what I heard about the Young Master, he is a genius in fighting and he also learned the art of assassination. I also heard that rumor about him murdering an entire family.

Which is clearly a lie, once he assassinated the target, my shadows wiped out the whole family.

I guess I'll have to apologize to the Young master in due time, for him.

"Gael, I want you to buy a mansion near Artem Academy, also hire an interior designer for the house, I want something minimalist. I also want you to buy everything on this list" he said, pointing to all the equipment he needs for his home studio.

Looking briefly at the list and recalling everything in memory, I nod and head outside to make some calls. "You'll have everything ready for tomorrow Young mast-... Ezra" I paused at the last, due to my mistake.

*sigh*

It's going to be a boring day today, heh.
