章節 6: Chapter 6 little piggies, wrong game?
This archfiend doppelganger of the three little pigs was at the very back of this tide of fiends as a playful smile emerged on the faces on its body as if playing a game with toys and in its eyes, I was the new toy to break.
before bringing its shield and oversized club closer to its chest as its body was shaking I was multi-tasking right now as I sensed the incoming attack while preparing to take on the tide that is now less than 10 meters away from me.
a goblin in the form of a rat with a large mushroom leaped at me with the same style as the other goblins I killed earlier.
with my two short swords drawn I ducked bringing my body as low as possible with my blades aiming upwards letting the fiend passing overhead do the work for me as causing damage to itself before the fiend crashed into the ground.
I spun my body in response to another attack digging my blade into the side of an orc(a deformed large cat) that tried tackling me when it failed and the pain I caused it made it gather some of its acidic spit.
it grazed my shoulder since it has been some time from when I last fought one so i had forgotten its spitting tendencies, but I was tempted to offer my condolences to the goblin that got its face covered in acid, but the growing enemies didn't allow me!
Something Large struck me as I went flying crashing into some of the fiends around me it hurt pretty badly as my right arm was struggling to hold the conjured blade luckily my armor took most of the damage it was already cracking from that one attack, those that I bumped into changed into what they were originally like in the game.
so i while I was fending the weaker fiends off with one arm and my skill fire breath against some of the attacks and receiving some scratches I saved some of the creatures to heal me, and left the last one to fate to reinvigorate my body as I realized I haven't eaten anything yet!
the familiar feeling of something heading my way alerted me so I jumped to the air using one of my offerings to pull me away the culprit that sent those to attacks was doppelganger that was charging up another projectile.
as for what happened to the fiends that were at my previous location there wasn't anything left of them due to how powerful the attack was.
Using the iron brick, I created a batch of throwing knives which were stowed away, for now, I was too far away from the big guy to even tickle him with it, using the created chain I latched on to fence then pulled myself to the top of it.
the smell of the rotting corpses was enough to cause a slight frown but I used the fences to avoid the majority of the fiends as I made my way to the big guy.
the doppelganger noticed my plan of action thus it stopped its action of trying to shoot another projectile and started trying to take command of the fiends, those that received and followed the commands that were in grunting and growls started doing full-body slams into the fences.
so my next action which will be reckless and downright stupid even more so if it fails, I used my chain to its maximum output nearly breaking the offering my heart was bleeding slightly at this but it was necessary.
I then aimed for the top knot the big guy had on its main body's head, it reacted by using its shield to block my incoming chain since it was still an ongoing spell I manipulated it into wrapping around the snout of the head that was on the shield.
My target sensed something was strange as the senses of its shield and mace are shared with the body but before it could do anything I pulled myself towards it and making the chain drag me through the air.
it was pulling me so quickly that there is sure to be some damage to me and this sorcerer turned fiend, in mere seconds I crashed into its large frame, it was toppled to the ground with my blade deep into the head that was on the shield disabling it from being used again.
as I rolled off of the Doppelganger it stirred as it gradually got up the monster, noticed the lack of feeling from the shield the lack of life it had, caused it to roar frantically and crazily as bloody tears dripped from the remaining heads eyes, that look of sentience and anger it gave me was rather refreshing as it did something you'd never see in the game, the shield it threw it!
I narrowly dodged the attack but the next one was bizarre as the formerly slow Doppelganger's speed doubled as it was already upon me with a side swing like a bat with its mace that it held with both hand, my body was launched away like a rolling ball tearing through any of the fiends that were foolish enough to get in the way.
I coughed up some blood from the brutal attack as my right hand was smashed as I looked at it, my armor gave out exposing my naked frame yet again, so I quickly reached into my little satchel then used three of my offerings the new fruit, one of the extra scales, and lastly the shadow leopards paw.
{Sorcerers aren't immortals just semi-immortals depending on their magic and ways they can be killed, they can get sick, it is just that sometimes the price that some pay requires lifespan, Magusar was an example of that from what I remember in 'my' life story.}
my hand quickly healed as my body followed, then another set of scaled armor appeared it was different from the previous one as I fused the scales together giving better defense leaving a small opening at the mouth lest I burn myself with my plan, then quickly turned into a dark mist-like blur.
I made my way to my target that was... feasting upon its shield!?
Since it was distracted I snuck behind it then said three certain words that my Skyrim addicted friend would be proud of Inhaling as much as possible before infusing my larynx with as much mana I could muster then shouted.
"ㄚㄖㄥ-ㄒㄖㄖ尺-丂卄ㄩㄥ!!!"
a large wave of flames came from my breath that enveloped the doppelganger at the smell of roasted porked filled the area, however, something happened to my enemy as it stood right back up before turning to me yeah it wants to kill me now before charging at me with double the speed yet again.
It looks like its time for round two.
