Like a deer in the headlights, everything inside me froze.

“What’s going on?” Alyssa asked, sounding a little excited as if she understood the situation more than I did.

“It seems our old friend Robert... you remember Robert, right?” I felt rather than saw Alyssa nod. “Well, he and his sub, Trina are looking to add little Bell into their group.”

Alyssa gasped behind me, and I could feel her tense up against my back.

“However, Robert only takes on a perfectly behaved submissive. He is only willing to take on our little rebel if she’s retrained properly,” Kevin explained.

His gaze never left my face as if trying to imbed every word on my psyche.

My stomach twisted with worry from the obvious warning in his tone. I knew I had been a wild child, but the keyword there was ‘was’. I had changed, hadn’t I? I did not need to be retrained! I tilted my chin up as a silent challenge towards Kevin, and his lips twitched a bit as if he were trying to hold back a smile.
