章節 40: Chapter thirty nine

Janelle was busy on the computer on her desk carrying out some work when a knock sounded.

She looked up to see a man wearing an ash-colored cap, a matching polo shirt, and washed-out blue jeans.

In his hands were a large array of red roses.

" A delivery for miss Janelle, " the guy said entering further into the cubicle.

Janelle pointed that he should drop the flowers on her desk.

She signed the delivery and went back to work.

Her boss had asked her to research into a company they were preparing to go into partnership with and she needed to have been done with the report since yesterday being Sunday, but dinner at her parent's house had made that impossible.By the time she finally came home, it was late and she was too tired to do anything.

Walking in this Monday morning, her boss greeted good morning by asking for the report, and when she had said she was yet to be done with it, that had not gone down well with him.
