"Tell me again how the woman who used to love your husband has fallen in love with the wife of the man instead," Evan said as I was returning to my room after dinner. 

"She doesn't love me. It is purely sexual," I clarified. 

"How do you know that?"

"We had a conversation regarding this quite a long time ago. She admitted that she used to have feelings for Dem and still liked him, however, it was not as much as before. And she also said that she wanted to know what it felt to have sex with a human and… envied Dem because he had," I said. 

I saw something flash in his golden eyes, something quite unfamiliar. However, he quickly went back to his old self and chuckled. 

"Well, now, that is quite straightforward," he said. 

"She is straightforward. You have heard how she talks."
