Which meant that he needed to spend long hours at SIMS. He purified himself of the dark magic that was making him ill slowly and steadily, with Fang's help – and soon enough, he was declared to be as fit as a fiddle by the entire panel of doctors at SIMS.

Everyone at SIMS was so relieved when Ren was officially confirmed to be fine that several people burst into tears – and Fang was sure that if Ren had not purposely cultivated the aura of being a person who doesn't like to be touched, many people would have rushed to hug Ren!

But it was a good thing that Ren was so well loved by his colleagues, Fang thought. There was a celebration lunch organised by the entire staff at SIMS in Ren's honour, and then there was another one at Sirocco.
