章節 23: Chapter 23 - Dates finalized

After dropping off Lara at her house earlier that day Lucas had gone to his office and completed some work.

Normally,he would be at the office till late but he was informed of Lara's visit to his mother.

Lara used to be his mother's sweetheart, heck she used to be everyone's sweetheart, but after coming back from a trip from abroad she had drastically changed.

At first people used to just tolerate her but it became too much and now my mother can't even stand the sight of her.

But recently, more specifically the past few days, Lara seems to be a completely different person. She was more like before the only difference is that she's nicer to her stepmother.

The news had spread and everyone thinks that she's up to something, his mother does and so does he.

But being her fiancee he guesses he needed to share woes and fortunes and therefore he needs to shield her a bit from my mother.
