章節 92: The Mysterious Woman
After the people in Kalren City finally exterminated all of the monsters, somewhere deep in the forest the following night, the same black-creature runs around the forest.
With now out of the black-dressed men's grasp, it is now finally free.
For so long it never touches the taste of life and freedom which the creature has been locked up in the cage for hundreds of years.
Now without the feeling of boredom.
Without the feeling of isolation.
And without the feeling of powerlessness.
Now soon it will freely devour everything in the world as it wants!
It will do as its ancestors did back 1000 years ago!
Soon they will-
Suddenly, the black creature senses something. It looked around and only just saw a regular deer in the distance.
It's its very first prey.
Rushing towards a tree at fast speed, it sneakily heads towards the deer who is eating the grass, doing whatever its life does.
Now finally at a few meters from the animal, the black creature immediately lunges at it ready to devour it!
All of a sudden, before it could react, a large sword slashes the creature in half, the deer hears the sudden noise and immediately runs.
"There you are."
A dark cloak person steps towards the creature, but the person's voice sounds feminine.
Wait...
Oh yeah, it is the same person in the City Lord's mansion, the one who warns them about the black thing.
The black creature reforms back after it got cut in two. It looks at the one who did that and growls, but stops as it sees the person's magical aura.

The magical energy within the person was so massive, at a level that could cover an entire world with this. However, it felt that there is more power inside the person, which means the one leaking out was just a very small fraction of her magic power. It may far surpass those two Demigods fighting combine, or even far more.
While her magic is enough to make the dark creature grow into a planet-size level just an instant, its instincts told it to run immediately!
Always trusting its instincts, without wasting a second, it immediately ran.
The dark cloak woman looked at the black creature that was trying to escape with a sneer.
"Stop right there!"
As her voice sounded, tens of white energy spears appeared behind her. The energy spears shivered briefly before being shot towards the black creature at the speed exceeding light itself!
Like ballistic missiles, it bombarded the creature and everything around it.
Luckily, the trees were able to block it, saving the creature. The black creature tried to run away using the same strategy from before, but the dark cloak woman just sneered and controlled the spears with her mind!
One second later, a large energy spear appeared above it and instantly nailed the creature to the ground.
"Screeech!"
The creature screamed in pain, the creature was surprised, any type of energy literally does nothing to it, especially things like Magic! There is no energy, nothing in many multiverses his kind had traveled and destroyed could be able to harm it, really, absolutely nothing! But there is only one energy able to harm it but nothing like the one dangerous energy that made them feel a large amount of pain, and.....
Thinking about it, if the creature has eyes, it will widen its eyes in despair as it knows what type of energy the spear possessed.
Finally learning what it was, the creature desperately tries to get out of the energy weapon's grasp.
But another spear appeared above it and pierced it again and shut it up.
Followed by another spear.
And another.
And another.
And another one.
And another one.
And..... another one.
Step forward towards the helpless creature, taking out a Flintlock-like gun, she aimed at the creature and pressed the trigger, shooting a white energy bullet at the creature.
The black creature was now officially dead, it instantly disintegrated when it got impacted by the bullet, destroying everything without leaving a trace, not even its cells were sparred as its existence was erased from the universe.
As she finally killed it, the woman put the gun back and the eyes of the woman glowed, just an instant, it disappeared. As it vanished, the woman looks up in the sky and just a simple hop from her one foot, she was already near space just a split second.
Floating above the continents was the woman, looking at the view of the whole continent that was about the same size as all of Earth's lands combined, you could also see eight more continents in the distance but in them, they have lost the sign of life within. Right now, she is looking at the lands near outside the planet's atmosphere, unfazed by the deadly pressure that has lacked things that a human is able to breathe in.
The woman then shifted her gaze from one spot and looked into another location just miles from Kalren City.
Deep underground was a massive laboratory filled with bizarre monsters that never exist in this world. This was one of the organizations responsible for the Monster Wave in Kalren City hideout.
"Found you."
The woman muttered coldly, just an instant, she disappeared, and when she reappeared at the next split second, that base was no more, or should I say it was utterly erased, only one symbol was carved on the ground where the base used to be, and the symbol appears to be six Crows.
On this day, the mysterious organization learned that an unknown group had hunting them, so now they are carefully planning before making a move as the consequences would be devastating.
Back to the woman, after she had destroyed one of the unknown organization's bases, she took something out from the spatial rift she summoned.

Typing something for a moment before putting it on her ear, the one on the other side finally picks it up.
"Yeah, it's done."
[...]
"I have found and neutralize them, even eliminate an escape Devourer right before its about to kill its first prey."
[...]
"Are you serious?"
[...]
"Okay fine, you did owe me for locating one of their bases and helping me with this, so.... thank you."
[....haha, good to hear, dear.] A very familiar voice sounded on the other side.
"Say Dear to me one more time, I will come for you and kill your ass." She coldly muttered.
[Try me, bitch!]
*Call Ended*
Putting the phone back to the endless void inside the rift, the woman greeted her teeth in anger at the idiot she was talking to, but she calms herself and begins to return to the city for another mission she'll deal with.
The one she calls on the phone is not her superiors but one of her superior's members who made a deal with her.
As she was about to leave the scene, you can see a glimpse of one of her eyes, her beautiful Emerald green eye shines as it deflects the moonlight of the night.
