Diya smiled at Marleen. "Thanks, Auntie." She stood up, accepting the cup of coffee from Marleen's hand.
"Have a good talk, I'll go have my lunch first," Marleen said, offering both of them a warm smile as she realised her presence there might not be necessary.
"My room?" Anastasia mouthed.
Nodding, Diya held the cup of coffee, following Anastasia upstairs.
As they entered the room, Anastasia closed the door behind them. Diya set the cup of coffee down on the desk and turned to Anastasia, her brow furrowed with concern.
"So, do you know what's going on with Daniel?" Diya asked, her curiosity evident. "He hasn't released any statement about the rumours, and he's been dodging the reporters like they're the plague. I tried asking him directly, but he just shrugged it off and refused to say anything. What's up with that?"
