Aanya gave her a warm smile, her eyes twinkling with camaraderie. "We're in this together, Li Xue. We always have been."

Despite the situation, Li Xue felt her lips curve into a small smile. She extended her hand, clasping Aanya's firmly. The gesture was a silent promise of their shared responsibility, their mutual commitment to their kingdoms.
