We stumbled into his apartment, tearing at each other. I pressed my body against his, kissing him and running my fingers through his hair. He pressed his head against mine, his scent flooding my senses.

I lost my mind, and that nagging voice, as all the fire and heat seared through me. My blood pounded in my veins, almost as hard as his body against mine. At this point, he knew my curves like the back of his hand. He knew how to kiss the little spot behind my neck, to grab me roughly from behind and run his hands slowly down my back, leaving chaos in his wake.

He took a step away, undressing himself as he focused on my body with slow deliberation. Declan examined me for what seemed like hours, disrobing me with his eyes. I stood there, his intense blue eyes compelling me to stay rooted to the spot.

The tension between us was so thick, one could cut it with a knife. I was desperate to close the gap between us, but I wanted him to take me under his rules, so I waited.
