章節 2: Chapter 2: Unique skill
The man without a care in the world, looked at us and said," Welcome to the academy. Some of you are repeating your first years, some of you are repeating for the second time...and well, about 25% are new. I cannot be bothered to talk to the repeaters, all of you leave and get ready for classes, and for the 25% stay."
I expected the person at the front of the crowd to continue shouting, but he didn't. I couldn't exactly see from the back, but he seemed to be shaking.
'I need to be more careful. I don't understand what is going on.'
After the man said that, the entire back row of people, other than me, left. And soon, 75% of the people in the hall left.
I was one of the only people in the back. It seemed that all the people who had to repeat the year were also like me, cautious. But what surprised me was that there were so many repeaters, this just goes to show that either the people in this world are dumb, or this place is hard to do well in.
Since all of the seats were empty, I took it as my que to move to the front. It would be disrespectful to sit at the back when there were seats which were yet to be occupied.
It seems I did the right move, as the middle aged man didn't say anything and just watched me walk to the front.
After I sat down, he looked at all of us and said," First-years, welcome to the Kadrias academy. I promise to you, that your 5 or more years here will be hell."
"First, I would like to introduce the 50 people behind me. They are the 5th year students of the academy. They will also be the people who will teach you for the entire year while the professors are busy."
" I myself am a professor of the academy, and also the Dean of the Knights school, Damoron Knight. As of right now, we will begin the awakening ceremony."
He then nodded to the 50 people behind him, and all of us were surrounded in bright light.
Some were in white colours, some in purple. However, the most obvious were 8 ominous black colours emitted from 8 students.
The remaining students were all pushed back, and the light from the 8 students went to the front of them, and a book materialised in front of them.
I was one of the 8.
"8 this year, that is not a bad number considering we only get 3 or 4 per year."
I knew about this colour symbolism from the book I read before. Each colour had a different meaning.
White means that they are pure blooded, and they have more talent than a mixed blood.
Purple means they have talent in mana, which is rare.
Then there were other colours, but the one which stood out the most was the black colour.
Having a black colour meant that the person had the talent of a unique skill, which no one else in the world could use but them.
It was a good and bad thing to awaken this ability. For one it meant that you are destined to live above all the masses, but it also meant that you would go through many hardships in life to fulfil your destiny.
I then looked at the title of my book, which said,' Minecraft.'
I then immediately lost consciousness, but not before hearing the middle aged man say," one of these 8 is the one from the prophecy."
...
"Sir, is it certain that the prophecy will be fulfilled this year?" A person from the batch of 50 asked.
"It is, the Diviner from the elven continent said so. '5 Uniques, which are above everyone in the world, will be making their debut into this world. With their otherworldly knowledge, they will change the lands.' While I am sure that crafty hag hid some details, it is for sure this year." Damoron said.
"I should probably go report this to the head dean. Get the 50 of them taken back to their dorms, classes start in 1 week for them. Also, get the Uniques to report to me after their awakening finishes."
...
In a massive dark void, I was in front of a screen which said,' A random seed is being generated. Please use the guid properly, and survive. All instructions are there.'
"Wait at least tell me what is going on!" I shouted at the screen, which changed the panel and said.
[Everything is inside the book.]
[Please survive]
[Seed has been generated]
[Logging in, Minecraft current versions, 1.17, part 1]
[Mod packs, none installed so far]

Btw guys, this is just an idea I am doing, and there are gonna be plenty of plot holes, but just enjoy.
