"Let me put it simply, assuming you lived with your family, what would you like to be?" Carl rephrased his earlier question.

Kim blinked her doe eyes, "I haven't thought of that…"

The waiter's arrival interrupted their conversation. He diligently placed the food on the table. With a polite smile on his face, he asked if they would be needing anything. Carl shook his head, waving him away.

He continued, "About your family, I'll help you search for them. I'm not sure if it will be as effective as your plan, but I'll do my best. You just have to think of what you really want."

"What if you can't find them? Or what if they never wanted me? What if they're dead?"
