-Kill the Monster leader [Wolf King]

-Unite the kingdom Save the Kingdom [less than 10% mortality rate]

-Steal the Grand Orb

-Steal the Empowerment Plasma

-Steal the Elemental Stones

Each and every item sounded exhausting. The first 3 could at the very least still be understood by normal challengers. But there was not a chance in hell anyone just summoned could steal those last 3, most even top players would probably never even find out what they were.

Without even clicking a single one Oliver simply spoke to the system. A thing most would not think possible as only verry direct commands worked.

"I choose mission 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6."

As everyone was absorbed in their own little world, trying to figure out what the hell was happening, no one even noticed Oliver saying this.

[You have selected all missions of the extreme difficulty. If any of the missions fails the tutorial floor will be seen as a failure.]

Many might be scared at what that meant, but failing didn't mean that you died or anything of that sort. No, you were send strait back to your hub world, which in the tutorials case would be hub world 1.

That isn't to say that there weren't any consequences. Not only would you not get any rewards for the things you did do in the floor, you would also get a reduced score on the next attempt of clearing it.

In later floors this got so bad that most didn't even get rewards once they finished a floor, due to them gaining a negative score. Basically dooming them for the next floor.

As many people chose there challenges they started to hesitantly move. Not Oliver though, as he simply patiently waited for some more notifications from the tower.

There were a total of 3 types of classes, but truth be told, for anyone wanting to make it big in the tower the Combination classes were a no go. They utilized both mana, the fuel Magical classes used, and energy, the fuel physical fighters used.

These might sound cool, but the catch was that none of them gained any extra AP or attribute points to actually utilize this advantage. And as Magical and Physical classes gained an innate trait to enhance their energy and mana, combination classes simply gained a trait allowing them to wield both.

Even for Oliver this was a no go, as he instructed his teammates not to pick them. Opting for a Rogue instead of the Assassin.

Oliver however didn't have to think about it at all, he had always been a mage, so he would stay a mage, simple as that. So he quickly chose the [Element Type] class.

At that verry next moment his own status screen automatically opened.

Pure Magic

Oliver smiled lightly upon seeing his stats, normally, for 99 precent of humans every one of these stats would be 1. But thanks to Olivers hyper specific training he managed to gain a total of 5 AP, which in the grand scheme of things didn't matter, but was extremely useful in the tutorial.

Scanning over the other aspects of his status screen Oliver came across his Innate Trait, Multitask, which had gone from level 5 in his previous life, back to level 1, that made him sigh a little, as this trait was not only extremely handy for mages, but also extremely difficult to level up.

The trait Pure Magic was rather simple, every Magic class gained it, it simply doubled your mana amount. Seeing that the next notification hadn't popped up yet Oliver took a quick glance at his spells.

[Mana Bolt]

Level 1

Shoot a mana bolt at an enemy for 50% magic damage.

Mana Cost: 1

Cast Time: 6 seconds

No Cooldown

[Mana Shield]

Level 1

Create a shield around caster to block a single attack equal or under 100% magic damage.

Mana Cost: 2

Cast Time: 10 seconds

No Cooldown

'Ah, that's right, I almost forgot out of habit.'

Seeing that his Cast Times were incredibly high Oliver suddenly realized that he had forgotten to turn of a hidden setting in his status screen.

This hidden setting automatically moved your mana or energy for you. Making it incredibly easy to cast magic, but also prohibiting you form showing your talent by reducing cast time, somewhat altering the spells by giving more or less mana etc.

'Turn off Autonomic Energy movement.'

At the verry next instant Olivers spells started displaying much more interesting stats.

[Mana Bolt]

Level 1

Shoot a mana bolt at an enemy for 50% magic damage.

Mana Cost: 1 (variable)

Cast Time: instant

No Cooldown

[Mana Shield]

Level 1

Create a shield around caster to block a single attack equal or under 100% magic damage.

Mana Cost: 2 (variable)

Cast Time: instant

No Cooldown

The reason these spells could be instantly cast was because of Olivers incredible 'Talent', at least that's how most would look at it. But as you climbed higher in the tower one came to know of the 'at least' 3 hidden attributes that determined talent.

Oliver knew of these attributes, although he still couldn't see them. Hell, there were probably more hidden attributes that he didn't even know about.

Since these hidden attributes had to do with the mind, they were mostly preserved when Oliver went back in time, but by how much he couldn't tell.
