When Roman finally caught up to Sophia, he wrapped his arms around her from behind, pulling her close as he rubbed against her. But when she turned around to face him, he was taken aback by the sight before him.

On the lush green grass, a beautiful red and white Scotch plaid blanket was spread out, adorned with an array of delectable dishes that would make any foodie's heart skip a beat. There were tender, juicy skewers of marinated chicken, perfectly grilled to a golden brown perfection. Next to them lay a platter of crispy, golden-fried calamari, sprinkled with a pinch of sea salt and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

A basket of freshly baked bread, still warm from the oven, sat alongside a rich and creamy spinach and artichoke dip, begging to be devoured. A selection of succulent, ripe strawberries and grapes added a pop of color to the spread, accompanied by a wedge of creamy brie cheese and a handful of crunchy crackers.
